Fixing and transporting pathological material to the laboratory is the first and, arguably, the most critical link in the Cellular Pathology process. Fixation should be commenced as soon after surgical excision as is practically possible to prevent autolysis and bacterial decomposition. CellPath offer a comprehensive range of fixatives and containers, both empty and pre-filled, to aid the safe delivery of fixed tissue to specimen reception.
